The 50 Healthiest Foods – Recipes Included!
TIME.com thinks that eating healthy should be simple. We couldn’t agree more.
They asked registered dietitian Tina Ruggiero, author of the The Truly Healthy Family Cookbook, to put together a list of what she considers to be the 50 healthiest foods and explain why each is so good for you. Some are to be expected, such as blueberries, oranges, and almonds, but others might surprise you. To help you find tasty ways to make these part of your diet, all of her choices include corresponding recipes from Cooking Light, such as “Raspberry and Blue Cheese Salad” and “Fennel Slaw with Orange Vinaigrette.” Not only do these sound delicious, but we’re also in love with the bright photographs that accompany the list. Check out the full list here and click here to see more work from photographer Danny Kim.
