“I Have Lost 127.6 Pounds, and I Feel Amazing”

Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
I was very unhappy with my physical appearance. It was hard for me to play with my kids, because I couldn’t keep up with them. That made me a little depressed. The person that I was on the outside did not match the person that I was on the inside.
What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
My inspiration was my boys. They need me, and I need them. If I am not here, they have no one. Heart disease runs in both sides of my family. I knew that if I didn’t change my nutrition and fitness, they weren’t going to ever learn. I needed to become who I was on the inside, and I am surely changing that!
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody help you overcome that challenge?
The greatest challenge I faced before beginning the program was being true to myself. I lied to myself for years saying that I was meant to be fat, and there was nothing that was going to change that. I was my own worst enemy. Being introduced to Beachbody literally saved my life. I feel amazing and free! I know that I can become the “me” on the inside, and I am finally living my dream … healthy and fit!
What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
I loved that the workouts were easy to follow, but still kicked my butt!
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I have lost 127.6 pounds, and I feel amazing. I can run now without getting out of breath in under five minutes. I can play sports with my boys, and not have to worry about taking breaks and leaving them to play by themselves. I am so confident in myself and what I am capable of. The limit to what I can do is endless!
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I am so much happier now that I have Beachbody. I can live life without worrying if I am going to survive long enough to see my kids graduate college. I have helped my kids become healthier eaters as well, and that itself is a huge deal!
How did participating in a Challenge Group help you reach your goals? How did your group support you and keep you accountable?
Being involved with Challenge Groups kept me accountable and on my toes. I received amazing meal prep help and healthy recipes.
How did your Team Beachbody Coach support you on your journey?
Yes! Ashlea McNeill is amazing! She has been there every step of the way! Her love and support means the world to me!
How did a Beachbody supplement, nutritional product, or program (such as Shakeology or Beachbody Ultimate Reset) support your transformation? What are the greatest benefits you gained? Did you see benefits to your energy, sleep, mood/mental clarity, or digestion/regularity?
I have been using Shakeology since day one, and I cannot live without it at this point. I love the taste and the nutritional value. It fills me up, and I love everything else about it.

My energy levels have gone up significantly.
