Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
Baked Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal is a great hands-off approach for cooking a hearty and delicious breakfast.
Just mix all the ingredients, transfer to a baking dish, and pop it in the oven. Done and done.
A combination of eggs and baking powder helps give a bit of rise and lightness to the baked oatmeal — without it, the oatmeal bakes up denser than stove-top oats.
It slices into neat squares that can be served on plates with a dollop of Greek yogurt or a drizzle of maple syrup.
If you want to switch up the flavors, you could try pear and cinnamon baked oatmeal instead. You could also experiment with different spices like cloves, cardamom, and vanilla.
