Decline Push-Up
Work your chest, shoulders, triceps, and core with this advanced push-up variation.
How to do it: Assume a push-up position — feet together, core braced, body straight from head to heels, and hands in line with and slightly wider than your shoulders — with your feet elevated on a box or bench.
Keeping your elbows tucked, lower your body until your chest is a few inches from the floor. Pause, and then return to the starting position. Do three sets of 10 to 20 reps.
Bulgarian Split Squat
Up the ante on your squat with this single-leg move that boosts hip mobility while hammering your quads and glutes.
How to do it: Stand with your back a few feet away from a bench, holding a pair of dumbbells at arm’s length by your sides. Place your left foot on the bench.
Keeping your torso upright, lower your body until the thigh of your front leg is parallel to the floor, and then press yourself back up to the starting position. Switch legs halfway through each set. Do three sets of 16 to 20 reps (8 to 10 per leg)
