Chocolate Matcha Energy Balls
Matcha, the powdered version of green tea leaves, lends its gorgeous bright green color to this energy ball recipe created by Let’s Eat Cake.
Matcha has just a slightly bitter flavor balances the sweetness of dates perfectly, and of course, Chocolate Shakeology adds great-tasting superfood nutrition and chocolate flavor.

Chocolate Matcha Energy Balls
Matcha, a powdered potent version of green tea, adds an extra boost of nutrition to these energy balls.
Ingredients
- ½ cup large pitted dates
- ½ cup unsalted almonds
- 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
- 1 scoop Beachbody Collagen Boost
- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened matcha powder, divided use
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. pure maple syrup
Instructions

Place dates, almonds, Shakeology, Collagen Boost, and 1 Tbsp. matcha powder in a food processor; cover. Pulse until mixed well.

Add extract and maple syrup. Pulse until well mixed.

Roll into 14 balls (approximately 1 Tbsp. each). Roll balls in remaining 1 Tbsp. matcha powder. Serve immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
