Xtend Barre is for anyone who wants to achieve a lean, graceful physique without bulking up or having to do high impact workouts. You don’t need any previous barre or dance experience. Andrea demonstrates every single move and includes modifications so you can do this program no matter what your age or fitness level.
Xtend Barre workouts combine small, isometric movements with dynamic total body sequences to help you sculpt and tighten from head to toe. You’ll feel the burn and you might even shake a little — a sign that your body is working, but the results are worth it.
A chair is the only required piece of “equipment.” You can also add resistance with a playground ball, a resistance loop, and/or a set of light dumbbells (one to three lbs. each). Andrea and her cast demonstrate moves with and without the optional equipment, so you’ll be able to follow along no matter what. We also recommend wearing grip socks if you plan to do Xtend Barre on a smooth floor.
